24 Hours for the Lord
In Our Lady of Africa Province (AFC) the three communities of Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, gathered together with the members of the VDB Salesian Family Group to live the experience of the pilgrimage of mercy.
"24 Hours for the Lord" was the slogan that accompanied the day and that was preceded during the week by the sharing of the Word on the Merciful Father and on the passage where Jesus calms the storm.
The encounter began on Saturday evening with adoration for the whole night. In the morning, the three communities gathered for a reflection on the theme of mercy and to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
After the pilgrimage to the Cathedral to share walking through the Holy Door of Mercy, there followed the Eucharistic Celebration. At the end, there was time for fraternity and sharing.
