Liverpool (United Kingdom) Immagine correlata a 25th VIDES UK

On Saturday, November 29, VIDES UK celebrated 25 years of its history.

The day began with the Eucharistic Celebration of Thanksgiving at the Salesian Parish of St. James in Liverpool where Vides established initiatives for formation and solidarity for young people and adults.

The volunteers gathered with the FMA, members of the Salesian Family, and local faithful to give thanks for the memories, formation, service, friendships, and enthusiasm shared for 25 years with the Volunteer Association.
Sr. Maria Grazia Caputo and Sr. Leonor Salazar, head of Vides International, emphasized the value of the association and some principal commitments: respect for human dignity, right to peace, education to Human Rights. Vides represents an important opportunity to promote the passage from dream to a new humanity that is oriented in that direction.

The atmosphere was permeated with a beautiful family and festive spirit. The evening was lived in the Salesian style of conviviality and fraternity through music, song, dance, and much joy.
