Feast of Sending for VIDES Volunteers

On Saturday, June 21, the feast of sending for the volunteers of the FMA community of Valencia in Our Lady of the Pillar Province, Spain, was celebrated for those who will participate in the international work camps in Mexico and Mozambique.
The celebration of Sending took place in a familiar and serene atmosphere, with a moment of sharing and fraternity with the families, friends, FMA, and educators who accompanied the group through formative encounters throughout the year. The volunteer group left on July 2 for places in Moatize, Naamacha, and Chiúre in Mozambique where the FMA have day education centres and youth oratory centres.
Tina, Sheila, Anna, Sonia, and Maria Angeles gave witness to solidarity and gratuity in service, in the certainty that the mission to which they have been sent is an opportunity for their formation and growth. The volunteer group will return to Barcelona at the end of August.
