Mary Help of Christians among Catholics, Buddhists and Muslims

On May 22, 2009, a procession in honor of Mary Help of Christians, patroness of the school, was organized to commemorate the opening of the school year.
Sisters, teachers and students (most of whom are Buddhists) participated. There are few Catholic students and a few are also Muslims. All asked the blessing of Our Lady with devotion as well as her protection to begin and continue well throughout this new scholastic year.
Fr. Niphon Sarachit, director of Don Bosco Technical School of Huapong, presided over the function and then blessed all buildings and classrooms.
The whole student body participated with fervor and devotion and the students offered Our Lady flowers and garlands.
